A lot of these companies are getting bought out for X amount per share and have been approved. When the market nose-dives they dive along with it and rally. Right now BUD, CEG, HUN, Texas court backs Huntsman (HUN) in merger-related dispute HLTH look good for a trade well below their buyout price. This is the perfect time to be playing these merger spreads. Good site with spreads and dates on a lot of deals
On another note I noticed recently that golf company Ashworth ASHW got bought out by Adidas for $1.90. Adams Golf ADGF is now trading for half of its net current asset value that I crunched awhile back along with Golfsmith GOLF . I have to say, GOLF looks like a good buy if you feel like putting money to work.
What mergers does everyone feel the most confident about going through?

Im liking CEG and PSD at the moment. CEG backed by Buffett, and PSD has been approved with only reply briefs to be submitted by Oct 23
